The journal of the Association for Journalism Education, a body representing educators in HE in the UK and Ireland. The aim of the journal is to promote and develop analysis and understanding of journalism education and of journalism, particularly when that is related to journalism education.
This special edition of Journalism Education examines the issues of gender and the media from the recruitment of students to journalism programmes to the gendered choice of news in our media. The editors are extremely grateful for the hard work and energy of our guest editors, Elisabeth Eide and Gita Bamezai and their contributors for producing an absorbing and timely edition of Journalism Education.
